Restore Health With a Backyard Spa, Hot Tubs Incline Village

While there is no magic solution for improved health and wellness, there are strategies that can help you look and feel better instantly. One of the best is also the most enjoyable.

Here’s how to restore health in minutes a day with a hot tub.

Rejuvenate Body and Mind
A hot tub is a fantastic tool for giving you the physical and mental boost you need. With massaging jets pushing out tension and stress from the muscles, and a relaxed, distraction free environment to soothe the soul, five minutes is all it takes to rejuvenate body and mind for a healthier you.

Improve Cardiovascular Fitness
Elevated heat causes the heart rate to increase—a response very similar to what happens when the body is engaged in light cardiovascular exercise. With regular use, the heart muscle strengthens, giving you the extra energy and vitality you need to do the things you enjoy.

Get Your Beauty Sleep
No one can be their best when they are not getting the restorative sleep they need to function at peak levels. Use a hot tub 30 minutes before bed and put sleep aids away. Hot, massaging water is just what the doctor ordered for promoting a deep, restful sleep that finds you energized and ready to go in the morning

Muscle and Joint Recovery In a Portable Spa, Hot Tubs Incline Village

Whether you’re getting ready to run a marathon, or you just feel like you have at the end of the day, a hot tub can help. With hot, massaging water pushing at all areas of the body, a few minutes in the spa is the key to safe, all natural muscle and joint recovery. Here’s what you have to gain from soaking in the hot tub.

Improved Flexibility, Range of Motion
With regular use, a hot tub can actually decrease joint inflammation, reducing stiffness and making movement easier. Water supports joints, decreasing pressure. With continued use, soaking in the hot tub increases flexibility and improves range of motion.

Warm Muscles Recover Faster
Before reaching for painkillers, give a luxurious soak in the hot tub a try. With elevated, sustained heat, a hot tub targets achy muscles all over the body, relaxing on contact. As muscles warm, they recover faster, giving you that sense of accomplishment you deserve, without the aches and pains.

What About the Hot Tub Before Exercise?
The heat of the hot tub is the perfect way to loosen and relax muscles before engaging in strenuous exercise. In just a few minutes, the body is loose and limber. Don’t forget to drink plenty of fluids—a hot soak will loosen your muscles, but you still need to keep them hydrated.

So Go Ahead, Take a Soak, You Deserve It!
It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

Hot Tubs, Swim Spas Dealer Incline Village Supports National Diabetes Month

The Spa and Sauna Company, a hot tub, swim spa and sauna dealer with 3 retail showrooms serving the greater Incline Village, Reno and Lake Tahoe area shares tips for managing diabetes.

Scott Clark, president of The Spa and Sauna Company says, “Millions of people have diabetes and millions more are in the stages of pre-diabetes. Learning strategies for dealing with this disease is smart, and an important part of maintaining health and wellness.”

Here are three steps for dealing with diabetes*

Manage Stress – High stress elevates the effects of diabetes, and can increase the risk of developing the disease in people who are pre-diabetic. A hot tub installed in the back yard is a great way to create a relaxed, stress-free environment. Slipping into the warm, soothing water of a portable spa melts away the tensions and anxiety of the day, but can also be therapeutic to blood sugar levels.

Monitor Foot and Hand Health – One of the first areas affected by Type 2 diabetes are the extremities. Less blood flow and nerve damage combine to create problems for the feet and legs. Take time each day to examine the feet and hands. Care for any minor injuries immediately and speak to a physician if an injury becomes worse.

Get Regular Checkups – Seeing a doctor before diabetes sets in is smart. Type 2 diabetes can contribute to heart disease, stroke, loss of vision and kidney disease. Visit a doctor at least once a year for a regular checkup and be sure to get your blood sugar levels checked too.
