My Perfect Hot Tub Moment – Why Everyone Should Consider the Investment

Like most people, I work for a living. I enjoy my job, but I never seem to have enough time to really enjoy the ones I love or the life I’ve created. Sure, I have weekends off, but family obligations and other responsibilities make it a real challenge to stay connected. We decided to buy a hot tub a few months ago, and I have spent more time with my kids and my wife in the past few weeks than in the past year. My perfect hot tub moment came when my daughter told me she was getting married while we were enjoying a relaxing soak. Here are a few more ways the family hot tub has over delivered on a promise of relaxation, quality time, and fun.

My Kids Talk to Me – I try to be a good dad. I listen to my kids and spend time with them when they want me to. But sometimes, it’s tough to get them to open up about what they’re doing, who their friends are, and how they feel. We’ve tried family game night, pizza party Fridays, and anything to make spending time together fun. Teenagers can be tough because someone always has a reason for not joining the group. With a hot tub in the backyard, we literally can’t keep them away. And when it comes to talking, let’s just say it must be the heated massage, because they talk nonstop. In fact, the conversation flows so easily, it’s as if we had a therapy session right from the back yard!

I Feel Young Again – Conversation isn’t the only benefit, because my hot tub makes me feel like a teenager again. I try to eat right and exercise, although I could probably stand to lose a few pounds. Either way, over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed my joints aching, especially in the morning, when I first get out of bed. I don’t have arthritis, but I certainly have stiff muscles. Using the hot tub has opened my eyes to how much better I can feel. Twenty minutes before breakfast and I’m ready to play a few rounds of golf with my son. It’s a good feeling to feel young again, and one that I owe to my hot tub.

I’m Confident, Sharp, and Mentally Alert – Could it have something to do with stress relief? Maybe, but after using my hot tub, I feel confident, focused, and mentally alert. Work pressure doesn’t seem as overwhelming and I can tackle problems with a confidence I haven’t felt in years. Sitting in the lounge massage chair in the hot tub and letting the massage envelop my shoulders and neck helps me prioritize. I guess my body needed a chance to relax and I’m pleased to say, my hot tub makes that possible.
