Salt Water Spas Can Help You Pursue a Healthy Lifestyle, Salt Water Hot Tubs Fitchburg

With wellness a top priority for most, finding new strategies to stay happy and healthy is always top of mind. Luckily, the benefits of using a hot tub extend far beyond just “feeling great”. In fact, salt water hot tubs have an amazing impact on health—and when used regularly can be a smart, sensible way to look and feel your best.

Here are three ways to pursue a healthy lifestyle in a salt water hot tub.

Get Rid of Unhealthy Stress – No one likes to walk around stressed out, especially since elevated stress has been linked to so many negative health conditions. Soaking in a salt water spa a few times a week is a sensible way to banish stress and tension pain from the neck, shoulders and back. With massaging jets to work out kinks and salt water to soothe, a quick twenty minutes is exactly what the doctor ordered for easy stress management.

Soak Your Skin Back to Health – Salt water spas have the one ingredient that’s proven to soften and soothe the skin—salt! That’s why salt is typically a popular ingredient added to skin care products. With a soothing and silken-ing effect, lounging in a salt water spa is the perfect way to treat your entire body to a relaxed experience that leaves the skin nourished, rejuvenated and youthful.

Ease Joint Discomfort and Reduce Swelling – You don’t need to have a chronic condition like arthritis to benefit from the therapeutic properties of a salt water hot tub. Any aches and pains that cause discomfort, whether it’s from overuse or injury feels better after a few minutes in the spa. But, salt water spas provide extra value: relax in massaging comfort and excess fluid that accompanies pain and swelling is gently drawn from the body. Over time and with regular use of a salt water hot tub, inflammation decreases, as does pain.

So Go Ahead, Take a Soak, You Deserve it! – It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

3 Ways a Swim Spa is Better Than a Pool, Swim Spas Prescott Valley

If you’re waffling between investing in a swim spa or a pool, here’s some information to consider. Aside from cost, and few space limitations, the average swim spa can double as a hot tub that you can use 365 days a year.

Here are 3 ways a swim spa is better than the typical pool.

Place it Indoors, for Year Round Use
Unless you live in a climate where the weather is warm year round, your swimming pool sits vacant for several months out of the year. Why invest in something you can only use a few months at a time? Compact size allows you to place a swim spa indoors, meaning you enjoy it through every season, ensuring you get the most use out of your investment.

Easier and Less Expensive to Maintain
Considering you can only use a swimming pool a few months out of the year, paying a lot to maintain it is silly. The average swim spa holds far less water, which takes far less time and money to keep clean. While there are still some regular maintenance responsibilities with swim spa ownership, it’s far easier and less expensive to maintain a swim spa year round than care for the water in a typical in-ground swimming pool.

Hot Tub Hydrotherapy on Demand
Perhaps the best reason to consider a swim spa over a swimming pool is the ability to use it as a hot tub spa. The best models offer dual use—a non-stop current on one end and powerful hot tub massage at the other. Workout, swim, and play in the continuous current and then hop on over to the other side to relax in massaging warm water. A perfect solution for retirees, hard working athletes and anyone looking to benefit from hydrotherapy, a swim spa delivers with two in one value.

So Go Ahead, Take a Swim, You Deserve it!
It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

Swim Spas Offer Better Benefits than a Swimming Pool, Swim Spas Dealer Ellicott City

Move Over Swimming Pool, the Swim Spa Offers Even Bigger Benefits.

Lap swimming is an easy way to stay in shape, maintain a healthy heart and look and feel your best. Swimming even a few times a week is a smart part of a healthy lifestyle. But why stop there?

Homeowners thinking about investing in a swimming pool for the home are quickly turning to the swim spa instead. Here are three even bigger benefits to be gained from the swim spa.

An Aquatic Gym for Muscle Strengthening – Swimming on its own does wonders for strengthening and toning the body. But add some resistance bands and an underwater treadmill to your swim spa and you can create an aquatic gym instantly. Work the shoulders, back and arms with resistance bands and strengthen the lower body with an underwater treadmill. Compact size makes it easy to equip your swim spa with any number of aquatic gym accessories for a customized aquatic workout from home.

Safe Entertainment for the Kids – Did you know that you can use the customizable current in your swim spa to entertain the kids? How about boogies boards or kayaking? Turn the current to a safe, exciting level and let them enjoy themselves on an inner tube or knee-board. Kids of all ages—and even adults—can do far more than swim laps in a swim spa at home. It’s the perfect entertainment feature for all ages!

The Hot Tub Option – Perhaps the best benefit of a swim spa at home is the option to add a hot tub spa at one end. Quality swim spas can be equipped with powerful massaging jets and even dual temperature control for soothing hydrotherapy. Get your 30-minute swim workout in one half of your swim spa and then slip over to the other side for a relaxing, rejuvenating massage.

So Go Ahead, Take a Swim, You Deserve it! – It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

How a Hot Tub Can Help You Get a Good Night’s Sleep – Ellicott City Hot Tubs

Sleepless nights – defined by tossing, turning and waking too early are nothing new. In fact, most people experience some form of insomnia at least a few times each month. When you’re ready to get the sleep you deserve, why turn to prescription mediation or sleep aids when there’s a better way.

Here are three ways a hot tub at home can help you banish sleepless nights to get the rest you need.

Massage the Stress Away – Whether you’re a high-powered attorney or a hard working student, when stress hits, it’s tough to sleep. Slowing an active mind isn’t easy when the body is tense, tight and anxious. With a hot tub at home, complete relaxation is as easy as a few quiet minutes in the spa. After a long day, sitting back for some personalized massage complements of the hot tub is a smart way to relax body and mind in preparation for sleep.

Promote a Smarter Transition to Sleep – Soaking in the spa does a few different things. First, it raises your core body temperature, which increases blood flow and improves circulation. Second, it targets deep under the skin to relieve aches and pains that prevent you from getting the deep, regenerative sleep you need to be your best. Exit the tub and heightened temperature drops rapidly—a first step in prepping the body for deep, restorative sleep.

Build Smart Lifestyle Habits – Sound sleep is often the result of a healthy bedtime strategy. In addition to avoiding caffeine, cell phones and late night eating, a relaxing soak can help foster healthy habits. Make a trip to the spa part of your routine and erase built-up tension, relieve minor aches and pains, soothe a busy mind and set yourself up for healthy success. With regular use, a hot tub can help you feel terrific—the prerequisite for a great night’s sleep.

So Go Ahead, Take a Soak, You Deserve it!
It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

Salt Water Hot Tubs Dealer Des Moines, Participates in Stress Awareness Month

“At times, stress at home can be overwhelming. Whether it’s an argument with a spouse, dealing with young children and teens, or piles of bills that never seem to stop, it can feel like there’s nothing we can do about it,” says Sean Schaben, Co-Owner of Hot Spring Spas of Des Moines. At the same time thought, stress at home is a lot easier to cope with than the random stress in the outside world though.

Here are three ways to reduce stress at home.

Talk Don’t Explain – When there are situations at home making blood pressures rise, don’t be tempted to explain it away or make excuses for it. Instead, talk to significant others or sit children down and talk with them about difficulties.

Simply accepting a situation for what it is allows the stress to continue and it is likely that everyone in the home is feeling the strain. If financial worries or job stress is creating tensions, often just talking about the problems with loved ones can ease the strain or help reduce the burden.

Write It Down – Keeping a journal may seem like child’s play but writing our feelings can have a big impact on how we deal with the stress in our lives. It is a lot like talking about the problems with an old friend, without anyone else present to make judgments.

Just the act of writing out the issues we face daily can also help reduce their significance. Too often we let things build up until they seem like huge problems when they’re really not that bad. Seeing it in writing and letting out the anxiety is a good way to reduce stress levels.

Take a Soothing Hot Tub Soak – Hot tubs fit great in any home. Unlike a full-sized pool, they won’t take up the entire yard and they remain at the perfect temperature at any time of the year.

Portable spas have a great advantage over a regular bath in that the temperature won’t fluctuate, and the jets provide soothing relief to sore muscles and tired minds. Plus, friends and family will love soaking in it as well, and when it is time for a difficult conversation about stress at home, a hot tub provides a relaxing atmosphere to hold a calm discussion that makes everyone feel better.

Add a stereo system or television to the hot tub and it is a great all-around stress reducer where everyone in the family can soothe their tired nerves at the end of a long day with comforting water, soft music or their favorite shows.

New, Used Spas Apache Junction, Queen Creek Swim Spas Dealer Shares Optimism Tips

Southwest Spas and Southwest Spas and Pools, selling used spas and hot tubs, swim spas and lap pools serving the Apache Junction and Queen Creek area, Arizona, publishes 3 Ways to Develop an Optimistic Attitude.

“Having a positive attitude in life reduces stress levels, increases happiness and even promotes a higher level of self-esteem and self-respect no matter what is going on in life,” says Melinda Dalacas, manager of Southwest Spas and Pools.

Here are three ways to develop an optimistic attitude for a happier life:

Using a Hot Tub as an Optimism “Hideout” at Home – Create a place at home to be at peace when the world outside the doors is in turmoil. It isn’t about hiding away, it’s about unwinding. Coming home at the end of a long day should be relaxing and enjoyable. Soaking in a hot tub is one of the best ways to unwind and find peace within. Soaking in the warm, soothing waters of a portable spa on the porch or in the backyard allows people to feel blissful and happy.

The vigorous massage jets and temperature-controlled water of that hot tubs provide relax the body and mind and allows everyone in the house to focus more clearly on the good things in life, no matter what went on during the day.

Soaking in a hot tub at the end of the day is stress-relieving but soaking in the hot tub in the morning allows optimistic people to start out with healthy, happy intentions that will reverberate throughout the rest of the day. Having the spa at home gives people the best opportunity to make the most use of it whenever it is needed and use it regularly.

Develop Optimistic Language – In the case of optimism, it really is a matter of practicing what you preach. People who want to be more optimistic need to pay attention to how they talk, both openly to others, and also privately to themselves. Saying things like “I can’t” literally makes it so.

The old saying, “whether you say you can, or say you can’t, I know you’re right,” is true. Instead of no, or can’t, or saying it’s hard, or something is horrible, learn to say it can be done, it is easy, it’s simple, it’s going to be great.

Get Outside and Enjoy Fresh Air and Sunshine – Sunshine is full of vitamin D, a vital nutrient that is not readily available in most foods, but is well-known to improve happiness, and emotional well-being. Vitamin D triggers the feel-good areas of the brain.

A lack of sunshine and vitamin D are common in people who live in colder climates where there is a tendency to be isolated indoors for many months at a time. Getting out in the fresh air and sunshine will make it easier to focus on positive aspects of life no matter what is happening on any given day.

Hot Tubs, Swim Spas Dealer San Jose Shares Tips for National Optimism Month

Hot Spring Spas of San Jose and Santa Cruz (The Spa and Sauna Company), a hot tub and swim spa dealer with retail showrooms in the greater San Jose and Santa Cruz publishes guide for National Optimism Month

“March is National Optimism Month, a great time for people of all ages to turn the tide of pessimism toward optimism,” said Scott Clark, CEO of The Spa and Sauna Company. “By practicing an optimistic attitude for the entire month, people can make it a habit that will have a healthy, positive impact on their lives forever.”

Here are 3 ways to create an optimistic outlook to get the month started.

Soak Away Negativity in a Backyard Hot Tub – Adding a portable spa to the home makes it easier to utilize it for a positive outlook on a daily basis. Soaking at night has a two-fold purpose.

First, it gives people a way to get rid of stress, anxiety or tension in a soothing atmosphere that is luxurious and peaceful, for a healthier outcome to daily difficulties. Second, soaking in the relaxing waters of a portable spa prepares people for a good night’s sleep, and helps them sleep more soundly, so they can be rested and ready to take on all of the challenges of the next day in a healthy, positive manner.

Don’t overlook the benefits of a morning hot tub session either. Soaking in the hot tub for a few minutes at the start of the day prepares people mentally for what they need to do, and boosts endorphins for a great feeling that will carry them through everything they are confronted with.

Set Goals, and Believe in Them – A lot of people, both optimistic and pessimistic set goals, but optimists believe that the goals they have will happen – no matter what else goes on, or how events unfold. Even when things seem to be going wrong, an optimist will have faith that they can deal with all that comes, and even negative events are an opportunity to learn and find a better path.

Keep a Gratitude Journal – Spend a few minutes every day jotting down the things and events that happened and what there is to be happy and grateful for during that time. A study by Emmons and McCullough in 2003 showed the direct effects of gratitude on people’s state of well-being.

To encourage local residents to check out the benefits of using a hot tub, swim spa or sauna to help improve their overall health and well-being, Hot Spring Spas of San Jose and Santa Cruz is providing free hot tub and swim spa test soaks. They do recommend, however, that people wanting to schedule their free 30-minute soak call them ahead of time to reserve their spot.

How to Use the Exercise Spa and Lap Pool to Cross Train – Swim Spas San Jose

Athletes have been maximizing performance by cross training for generations. Engaging the body in two or more different types of physical activities forces the muscles to work differently, and is a proven way to move beyond the famous “plateau”. A swim spa is a terrific piece of equipment and a sound investment for anyone hoping to take athletic performance to the next level.

Here are three amazingly fun cross training ideas to try with a swim spa at home.

Resistance Bands for Shaping and Toning
Lifting weights is always one of the best activities for improving athletic performance. But in water, the benefits are even greater. Water is naturally buoyant, but it also has a certain amount of natural resistance too. Adding resistance bands to both ends of your swim spa gives you the extra push you need to see incredible results fast.

Low Impact Running
Did you know that you can use a treadmill in your swim spa? An even safer alternative to running on land, treadmill walking in water is easier on the joints, more convenient than visiting the gym and super fun. Plus, with mobility or joint issues, using a treadmill in water is a safe, effective way to continue a cardiovascular regimen after injury or during rehabilitation.

Continuous Lap Swimming
Swimming is easily the best activity for cross training. It’s a safe, extremely effective way to shape and tone every muscle in the body—including those that rarely get attention, like the back and shoulder muscles. With a swim spa at home, it’s easier ah ever to customize the perfect current, adjusting as you gain speed. With regular use, the swim spa can help you keep weight gain in check while building strong, solid muscles.

So Go Ahead, Take a Swim, You Deserve It!
It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

3 Reasons to Buy A Salt Water Hot Tub, Salt Water Spas San Jose, Santa Cruz

If you’re in the market for an exciting home addition like a hot tub, congratulations! The right hot tub can bring health and happiness to you and yours for years to come.

But before running out and buying the first tub you see, here’s some information that might guide your purchase: Salt water hot tubs have unique benefits that can take your experience to the next level.

Ready to learn more? Here are three reasons why you should buy a salt water spa today.

1 – Sanitizing Water is Easy, Odorless and Irritation-free
One thing is true of all hot tubs—whether they’re filled with salt or not: spa water must be sanitized to stay healthy and ready to use. That’s not a problem. Even a traditional hot tub requires minimal work. But salt water is a natural sanitizer, meaning you don’t need to rely on so many chemicals, like chlorine. The benefit? Sanitizing is easy, odorless and irritation-free.

2 – Nourish Your Skin with a Relaxing Soak
We all know that lounging in a spa feels fantastic. With hot, massaging water penetrating deep beneath muscles and joints, pain doesn’t stand a chance, whether it’s minor, or a chronic condition like arthritis. But here’s the best part: A salt water hot tub works double time to nourish and soften the skin too. Sit back, relax and let the natural soothing essence of salt make your skin silky and smooth.

3 – Reduce Swelling Naturally
Another fantastic benefit of soaking the body in salt water is salt’s ability to reduce swelling. As warm, massaging heat from the spa opens the pores, salt in the water works to draw fluid from the skin, reducing pain and swelling. In just a few minutes, a salt water hot tub can leave you looking and feeling better than you have in years.

So Go Ahead, Take a Soak, You Deserve It!
It’s fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

Top 3 Reasons to Buy a Sauna – Infrared Saunas Minneapolis

If you’re in the market for a sauna at home, you’re not alone. Professionals, retirees and even families are making the investment with improved health in mind.  More than a luxurious addition to the home, a sauna can change your life.

Here are three of the top reasons people are buying saunas for the home.

1 – On-Demand Stress Relief – The number one health benefit from using a sauna is stress relief. With a sauna at home, it’s always the right time to sit back and relax. Elevated heat produces a calming sensation, easing stress and tension and loosening tight muscles on contact. Whether it’s a low back condition, tight neck or stiff shoulders, ten minutes in the sauna at the end of the day is all it takes to emerge refreshed, rejuvenated and stress free. Traditional saunas offer a quiet, calming environment for maximum relief.

2 – Banish Aches and Pains – On Contact A long day on your feet, arthritis or an old sports injury can wreak havoc on the body. Aches and pains impact us all, but finding relief isn’t always easy. When medication, heating pads and rest aren’t enough, a sauna can help. Elevated, sustained heat provides instant relief from head to toe. In home infrared saunas relieve aches and pains instantly as intense heat releases endorphins and promotes muscle relaxation.

3 – Rid the Skin of Harmful Toxins – Over time, harmful toxins build in the body, giving the skin a dull, worn appearance. Chemicals in the environment, like lead, copper and mercury can’t be avoided, but flushing them out is a proactive way to stay healthy. Sauna bathing induces sweat, which is the most efficient way to cleanse the skin of harmful bacteria. Infrared saunas target the entire body, improving the natural texture of skin.

So Go Ahead, Take a Sauna, You Deserve it! – It’s fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

Salt Water Hot Tubs Minneapolis, Spa Dealer Participates in National Optimism Month

Salt Water Hot Tubs Dealer in Minneapolis Shares 3 Tools for Creating an Optimistic Attitude. Offers Free Hot Tub and Swim Spa Test Soaks to Local Residents

“Having an optimistic attitude isn’t about expecting life to suddenly be wonderful with no troubles, and where everything goes the way people want it to,” says Randall Long, from Hot Spring Spas of Minneapolis. “It’s about learning how to find the best in every situation and having a healthy outlook on life no matter what happens along the way.”

Here are three tools for creating an optimistic attitude that people can use during National Optimism Month, and every day after throughout life.

Add a Hot Tub Create a Home that is Optimistic – The more people surround themselves with ways to be optimistic, the easier it is to realize that desire. Creating a home that is pleasant, soothing and relaxing is a great start. Make sure everyone in the home understands that this is a place of peace and relaxation. Stress needs to be worked out in a positive manner.

Adding a portable spa to the outdoor entertainment area is a great start to creating a place that makes it easy to be relaxed and happy. The soothing water of a hot tub works out stress, tension and anxiety in a positive manner, while also giving the mind a luxurious place to be at peace.

Hot tubs have built in temperature control to make it easy to be comfortable at the perfect temperature for as long as needed without getting frustrated with adding or removing water from a tub. They are naturally great places for family and friends to get together and enjoy each other’s company in a soothing and enjoyable environment as well and allows people to talk about all of the issues of the day, or on-going issues in a stress-free environment.

Fake it ‘Til You Make It – At first, for people who are used to being pessimistic, the act of being positive, saying positive things, or reacting in an optimistic manner may not feel natural. It is okay. People need to allow themselves to feel uncomfortable at first, and even skeptical, but not to stop trying. If it doesn’t ring true at first, keep saying it and doing it regardless.

If “seeing is believing” then seeing the positive ways being optimistic makes people feel or outcomes change, will help the act of optimism be more and more natural each time.

Re-Think the Way Events or Situations are Seen – Failures aren’t failures, they are attempts that were made and learning opportunities. Ups and downs, bad days or challenges are just events that occur all the time and won’t change the good in life or the chance of success in the future.

3 Ways to get a better Night’s Sleep, Hot Tubs St. Louis

Baker Pool & Spa, a Hot Spring Portable Spas dealer selling new and used hot tubs in the greater St. Louis area publishes 3 Ways to Get a Better Night’s Sleep.

“March is Sleep Awareness Month, a time for people to focus on the benefits of getting a good night’s sleep and find ways to improve on their habits to sleep better,” said John McCormick of Baker Pool & Spa.

Here are three ways to get a better night’s sleep.

Create a Comforting Pre-Bedtime Ritual – There are several things people can do to relax and wind down before getting to bed. Adding a hot tub to the backyard is a great way to change the entire atmosphere of the home and give everyone there a place to calm down and relax after a long day at work or school.

Portable spas have multiple benefits that help promote good sleep. Soothing heat from a controlled thermostat that doesn’t require a lot of messing around to keep it at the right temperature make it fun to take long, evening soaks. The strong massage jets work out tension and anxiety and relax the entire body.

No Heavy Meals at Night – Eating heavy meals in the evening put the body’s focus on digestion, not sleep. It also fuels the body up and gives it energy. That’s a nice thing to have, but not in the couple hours before trying to get to sleep. Shift the heavier meals to breakfast or lunch and eat a light dinner. If a snack is really necessary, make it something light that won’t charge up the body’s energy levels or keep it working to break down while trying to get to sleep.

Reduce Caffeine Before Bed – Caffeine is a stimulant. Most people wouldn’t argue that fact. It really doesn’t make sense to ingest stimulants right before trying to get to sleep, but an alarming number of people do just that. Coffee is the most commonly associated product when it comes to caffeine, but tea, soda, candy, ice cream, hot chocolate and even protein bars can contain caffeine. Even decaf coffee and tea has some residual caffeine in it.

To encourage people to check out the benefits of owning their own hot tub, Baker Pool & Spa will be providing free test soaks for local residents all month long. They do recommend, however, that people wanting to schedule their free 30-minute soak call the company ahead of time to reserve their spot.

Hot Tubs St. Louis, Advantages of Using a Salt Water Hot Tub

Salt has some pretty amazing benefits. An all-natural ingredient that’s proven its worth over the years, salt has been used to promote sleep, reduce stress and even for health and beauty. So, why not soak in salt water when taking a dip in the family hot tub? You can!

Here are three advantages of relaxing in a salt water spa.

Salt is a Natural Sanitizer
All hot tub water must be cleaned regularly to be healthy—and it’s not a difficult or time consuming process. But, where traditional hot tubs often rely on chlorine for sanitization, salt water hot tubs do not. In fact, salt is a natural sanitizer, meaning you can use far less chemicals to get that crystal clean, sparkling water. For those who experience skin irritation or itchy eyes after a soak, a salt water hot tub is a pleasant alternative.

Salt Promotes Skin
Softening, Not Drying Relaxing in the soothing waters of a hot tub feels fantastic—but in a salt water hot tub, you’re treating your skin to some pampering too! With less chemicals and sanitizers, salt water spas leave the skin feeling nourished and softer after just one a soak. A unique treat after a relaxing dip, salt has some amazing properties that make a trip to the spa twice as nice!

Salt Has No Odor
One of the biggest advantages to using a saltwater spa is the pleasant smell. Experience is everything when it comes to soaking in a hot tub, and comfort definitely extends to your nose! With no strong chlorine smell, salt water spas create a welcoming experience—even as sanitization occurs. Spa enthusiasts delight in knowing regardless of how frequently spa water has been cleaned, it’s always fresh and pleasant to smell with no lingering impact of chlorine left on the skin.

So Go Ahead, Take a Soak, You Deserve it!
It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

To encourage people to check out the benefits of owning their own hot tub, Baker Pool & Spa will be providing free test soaks for local residents all month long. 3 Surprising Things Sauna Bathing Can Do For You, Infrared Saunas Madison

The link between heat, relaxation and improved health was made centuries ago—which explains why so many people invest in at home saunas. Step into elevated heat and instantly, muscle and joint pain disappear while the body rejuvenates from the inside out. But what else can regular sauna bathing do?

Here are three surprising benefits from using a sauna at home.

Detox and Cleanse the Skin
The defining characteristic of any sauna is extremely high heat. Enter the sauna and within seconds, the body starts to perspire. Sweating is natural, but also, an excellent way to cleanse and detox the skin. A few minutes of deep sweating removes impurities that washing alone can’t touch, leaving your face, chest and back clean and clear. As dead skin cells are replaced, new, fresh cells give skin a softer, younger looking appearance.

Reduce Symptoms of Asthma
If you suffer with asthma, you likely experience swollen airways and difficulty breathing. Luckily, using a sauna on a regular basis may help relieve some discomfort. It has to do with steam, and how bathing in elevated heat opens airways, reducing upper respiratory problems and making it easier to breathe normally. In addition, the relaxed environment of the sauna decreases stress, which is a known trigger for an asthma attack.

Improve Blood Circulation
Step into your personal sauna and you can jumpstart your circulation. Why is this important? The human body delivers oxygen-rich blood and nutrients to the cells. The more efficient your circulation, the faster you heal and the better you feel. A few minutes of sauna bathing raises core body temperature, which increases blood circulation naturally. Over time, and with regular use, relaxing in the sauna can improve vascular function for an even stronger heart!

So Go Ahead, Take a Soak, You Deserve it!
It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

Salt Water Spas – 3 Amazing Health Benefits, Salt Water Hot Tubs Madison

Have you been thinking about investing in a luxurious hot tub for your home? Why not? Hot, massaging water works wonders on aches and pains, and can rejuvenate a tired, sore body in minutes flat. Here’s some exciting news: salt water hot tubs can also rejuvenate, repair, restore and more.

Here are three incredible health benefits from soaking in a salt water spa:

Tension and Stress Relief A salt water hot tub is the perfect environment to ease elevated stress and tension. Hot, massaging water penetrates deep into agitated, painful back muscles, relieving pressure from tension instantly. On the neck and across the shoulders where stress pain tends to linger, a customized hydromassage is a quick and simple solution for relief. Massage loosens while heat relaxes tight, stiff muscles, improving flexibility, and increasing mobility.

Healthy, Revitalized Skin Soaking in the hot tub eases aches and pains, but it’s also a super easy way to clear up minor skin issues. Salt water in particular, has a softening effect, which is why it’s often a common ingredient found in leading skin care products. A few minutes each day soaking in the spa can leave skin looking and feeling younger and revitalized. For those who find traditional chlorine irritating, salt water hot tubs sanitize naturally, ensuring a relaxing, itch-free soak.

Ease Joint Pain, Reduce Swelling Joint conditions impact millions of people, whether it’s brought on by overexertion or a chronic condition like arthritis. Unfortunately, stiff, swollen joints are often accompanied by pain. Luckily, a few minutes in a salt water spa can relieve overall discomfort. Heated water opens pores, while salt draws water from the skin. This all-natural process can reduce painful swelling. For athletes or anyone looking for relief, a salt water spa is an excellent—and healthy way to reduce join pain and eliminate the discomfort of swelling.

So Go Ahead, Take a Soak, You Deserve it! – It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

Hot Tubs, Swim Spas Dealer Edgewater, Costello’s Ace Hardware Participates in Sleep Awareness Month

March is Sleep Awareness Month and a great time to examine personal sleep habits and find better ways to get the proper amounts of rest. Here are three ways to get more sleep.

Incorporate Stress Reliving Techniques – Having a way to reduce stress available at home is a great way to break the stress cycle. Hot tubs are a convenient and easy-to-use “stress buster” that help people sleep better. The temperature-controlled water makes it simple to get the perfect level of heat that lasts as long as needed for a good rest. The massage jets work out tension and anxiety from the day, preparing the body for a better night’s sleep.

Portable spas can be placed in the backyard, on a porch or patio, or even in an appropriate room in the home such as a basement or bathroom. Hot tubs come in a variety of sizes but having one big enough to accommodate all members of the household makes it even more fun to use and great for everyone to relax in at night.

Regulate Bedtimes – For most people, setting a schedule for sleep on work or school days and nights isn’t a problem. There is a set time every day for getting up, and a reasonable time to try and get to sleep.

The problem can start on weekends or other days that are not part of that schedule, as well as on vacation days. It’s a common luxury to sleep in or stay up late for fun activities on those days, but that little bit of deviance can cause problems during the rest of the week.

Create a schedule that incorporates 8 hours of sleep for the days when work or school requires a particular time, and stick to those times all week long, including weekends, holidays and vacations.

Get Rid of Gadgets Before Bed and in the Bedroom – Electronics such as cellphones and computers in the bedroom have several issues that cause sleep problems. The first doesn’t really have anything to do with them being present during sleep, it is their use directly before bedtime.

According to the National Sleep Foundation, 90 percent of Americans use some kind of device in the hour before going to sleep. That technological activity stimulates the brain and makes it harder to get to sleep.

There is a reason not to have those gadgets in the room at all, even not being actively used during bedtimes. If on, they will emit a light glow that disrupts the hypothalamus in the brain, making it harder to fall asleep or get into a deep REM sleep.
